Strengths and Weakness

Walmart is one of the best retailer store all over the world, but it also has some negative aspects that i would like to share with al of you. Here are the some strengths and weaknesses of Walmart:

Strengths:

1. Walmart has a wide range of products which you use in your daily life like grocery, apparel, electronic products and entertainment and home appliances.
2. Walmart uses cost leadership strategy in its business to offers its customer’s low prices.
3. Walmart is a multinational retailer store and has presence over 27 countries around the world.
4. It offers online shopping service to customers to shop from their home.
5. Walmart is the largest retailer in the world, which has more than $400 billion in revenue.

Weaknesses:

1. Walmart often faces labour related lawsuits, which cost millions of dollars to it.
2. Company also has some problems with high employee turnover that raises its expenses.
3. In order to give low prices, company needs to buy more inventories which decrease their profits.
4. Walmart has more part-time employee than full time.

These are the some strengths and weaknesses of Walmart. Company has lots of positive aspects but still there are many weaknesses that Walmart has to overcome to increase its growth and earn more profits. I think Walmart should focus more on its labour related lawsuits to improve its service.
